Instructions
# Bristle-bot
## Polarity
It's important to get the wires the correct way round:
- Blue to the positive side of the battery
- Red to the negative side of the battery
Try it before you stick your hex bug together.
## Making the hex bug
### Toothbrush
Using a junior hacksaw, cut the head off of a tooth brush. A clamp or vice will help you hold the brush steady while you cut.
### The motor
Peal back the white cover from the motor. Stick it to one side of the toothbrush head, leaving room for the battery and pointing the wires towards the where the batter will be.
### The Battery
1. Cut a small piece of double sided tape and place it on the opposite end of the brush from the motor.
2. Peel back the white top of the tape, then stick down the red wire and the negative side of the battery.
3. Cut another small piece of tape, fold it over and stick one side to the positive side of the battery. Then stick the blue wire to the folded over piece of tape.
### Turn on your hex bug
To turn on your hex bug, push the tape over so the blue wire makes contact with the battery. Watch it dance!
