Instructions

YP in patrols or groups are given a list of grid references for various places around the locality some close some a bit further away. They plot these onto a map and plan a route to visit as many as possible in a fixed time. To prove their visit to each location the must collect a reference number or letter placed there (this is done before meeting by an adult or Young Leader). Winning team is the one with most points. Closer locations are scored lower, further locations higher. Explorers could take photos of the location on their mobile phones. Allow Maximum 30 minutes planning and an hour walking.
