A fun activity following clues round the room. We had just done our disability badge so clues involving this badge were used.

Resources

hand made boxes were used we brought the padlocks etc
paper and printer
prizes in box, we used mini chocolates

Instructions

1st clue given to each pack -

13th of June is my special day, find my name .. (this is one of the cubs birthday in that pack so you need different date for each group, back up was made in case child used didn't turn up)
envelopes round room with child's name on with next clue.

next clue first letter of cubs badges led to a leaders name

sign language clue led to another leader

numbers to be changed to a letter led to another leader

braille told them to look under their chair ( one chair in corner where leaders sat to assists where needed)

crack the code clue for 3 digit padlocks (search on internet produces many puzzles)

4 different coded boxes meant that had to search for the correct box

(posters in the room with badges, sign language and braille)
