Instructions
Building on your discussions in Activities 1 and 2, design your ideal robot.
Working individually, draw and colour your own robot on your A4 sheet of paper. Think about the parts you might use to build it. What functions it will have. What it will be able to do. Where it might be used. Who might use it and when it will be used.
In your Patrol, share your ideal robot design and answer the following questions:
1. Describe your ideal robot. Explain your design. What is your robot?
2. What materials would you use to build your ideal robot? Why did you choose them?
3. Who would use your robot?
4. How would they use your robot? What tasks is it able to do? Why did you choose these tasks?
5. Where would it be used?
6. When would it be used?
7. Why would it be useful?
