Document and discuss any challenges you had with your robot design and build and any improvements you made using the LEGO Robotics kit.

Outcomes: Girls demonstrate their critical thinking skills by interrogating the design and build of their LEGO robot.

Girls demonstrate communication and collaboration skills by working in their Patrols and communicating their challenges to their Units.

Instructions

Now that you have completed Activity 5 and designed, built and programmed your LEGO Robot as a Patrol, discuss any challenges that you had during this process.

Using the A4 paper provide, document at least 3 challenges that you faced and at least 1 solution to each challenge.

Think about, discuss and document:

1. What problems did you encounter with your robotics build? How did you solve these problems?

2. What problems did you encounter with your coding? How did you solve these problems? What would you do differently next time?

3. Did you make any improvements to your robot or your coding? Why did you make these changes? What problem were you trying to solve?

4. Did you have any problems working as a team? If so, describe them. How would you improve your teamwork in future?

5. Did you have any problems communicating with each other? How did you overcome these communications problems? How would you improve how you communicate as a team in future?

6. If you are working on a team project in future, what one piece of advice would you give to yourself at the start of that project?
