Noah’s Ark has run aground. All of the pairs of animals have been separated in the middle of the night and need to find each other in the fastest possible time. As it is pitch black they can’t see each other so they have to do it using only their hearing.

Your mission is for everyone to successfully find their pair who is the same animal as them. You have 10 minutes to complete the task before Noah’s Ark will leave again. If you have not found your partner in this time your animal species will be wiped out.

Your 10 minutes starts when you hear the sound of the whistle. When you hear the whistle again your time is up and you are to stop making your noise.

Split the Scouts into pairs and blind-fold them. Give each pair an animal type to mimic, i.e. dog, cat, horse, cow, sheep, chicken, owl, mouse, lion, chimpanzee, pig, etc.

Separate them and mix them around and instruct them that on hearing a whistle they can begin trying to find their partners.

The time will stop when the last pair has been reunited.
