Instructions

Talk about how food became more plentiful in Spring Summer so people celebrated this time of plenty and the gods they believed were responsible. Tell the story of the May Queen and the Green Man. We played a version of captain's order with Green Man, May Queen, bonfire and Sun as bases and dancing around the maypole, pretending to be plants growing from seeds as other actions. Then made green man pictures with leaves.
