Beavers identify different fruit & veg and how they grow

Photos of different fruit & veg, board (chalk or pen), bluetack. 'Underground' 'On the Ground' & 'Trees' signs

Instructions

Beavers are shown pictures of different fruit & veg. They are to stick pictures to the correct column 'fruit' or 'veg'. Ask Beavers to name as many as possible and if they all agree that the pictures have been placed in the correct column.
Briefly explain that most fruit grow above the ground and most veg grow below the ground and that there are some exceptions!
Game: Stick the signs on a different wall in the room. When a fruit or veg is called out, the Beavers must run to the corresponding wall of how they think they grow.
