Fast-paced fire safety fun: extinguish flames with flash cards in this relay race of knowledge and agility!

Instructions

This is designed using 2 teams but can easily be scaled. Print one set of fire extinguisher cards and one set of fire cards for each team.

Begin with brief rundown of fire extinguishers and their uses. An example is:

"In the UK, fire extinguishers come in different types, each with its special powers to tackle specific kinds of fires. The water extinguisher is like a superhero for putting out fires on things like wood and paper. The foam extinguisher is a cool sidekick for dealing with fires involving liquids such as petrol. The powder extinguisher is an all-around hero, putting out fires with solids, liquids, gases, and even electrical sparks, but it can be a bit messy. The CO2 extinguisher is like a magical friend that can zap away electrical fires and liquid blazes. The wet chemical extinguisher is a kitchen wizard, perfect for tackling fiery cooking oil disasters. Lastly, the dry water mist extinguisher is like a friendly companion that can help with various fires, being kind to the environment at the same time. Just remember to ask a grown-up for help when there's a fire emergency!"

1) Fold fire cards so information is not visible, and place on wall at one end of meeting place. Place fire extinguisher cards unfolded on same wall, either above or below.
2) First member of relay team to take a fire scenario.
3) Second member of relay team to take fire extinguisher they think will solve it. If correct, (answers on attached Matches card) next member takes new fire scenario. If incorrect, next member takes new extinguisher.
4) Continue until all fires are out
