Use a giant toothbrush to put your teeth cleaning skills to the test, in this head-to-head game.

Resources

2x Brooms or Uni-Hoc Sticks
12x Cones (or more for larger groups)
20x Scrunched up pieces of paper

Instructions

1 - You will need two brooms or uni-hoc sticks (toothbrushes) and 20 scrunched up pieces of paper (food).
2 - Create a circle (mouth) of 12 cones, each cone spaced about 1 metre from the next cone.
3 - All the children should stand on one of the cones, representing teeth in the mouth. All the cones don’t need to be taken. If your group is larger than 12, then add some more cones into the circle.
4 - The scrunched-up pieces of paper (food) should be evenly scattered around the teeth (cones).
5 - Two children should be chosen to be the toothbrushes and are given a broom each to hold.
6 - On GO, both children should use their broom to brush around the teeth, weaving between the cones, to collect the scrunched-up pieces of paper (food) away from the teeth and back to the cone they were stood on originally.
7 - Pieces of paper can only be collected one at a time. This is a head-to-head race. The toothbrush who collects the most pieces of food and brings them back to their cone wins the game.
8 - Two new toothbrushes should be chosen, and the scrunched-up pieces of paper are replaced around the teeth, so the game can be played again.
9 - The child who collects the most items of food across all the attempts is the overall winner
