Resources
Materials:
-Scout Beavers 'Promise' words printed on cards
- Fashion tape/ cello-tape
Instructions
1. Have Beavers stand in a circle with their backs facing inside the circle. This is so they won't be able to see what Word Card you are placing on other child's foreheads.
2. Have children close their eyes. You don't want them to see what Word Card they have on their/ others foreheads either!
3. Place a Word Card from the Beavers promise on their forehead.
4. Tell children that the object of the "head sticker" game is to look and help each other arrange the Promise Words in the right order.
Here's the catch- they can't talk! They have to let others see their Word Card on their Forehead, without talking. They can use hand signals, but absolutely no noises! The other challenge is they CAN'T TELL (CAN ONLY ACT) others what Word Card the others have got (They can see others cards on foreheads).
5. Instruct children to open their eyes and begin moving around the room to look and find what Cards others have got. They simply need to communicate non verbally to unscramble the Beaver Scout Promise and help each other arrange themselves in order, without talking!
6. In order to complete the challenge successfully, they must be in an order and have the Beavers Promise.
