Instructions

Choose one of these activities to do:
Create a piece of art using natural material. You could do a bark or leaf rubbing, dried flower picture or maybe a collage. (https://www.pinterest.co.uk/pin/167899892345916581/)

Use a dye that uses natural ingredients to colour a piece of material. (https://www.pinterest.co.uk/pin/56787645291817657/)

Make bird feeder (https://www.pinterest.co.uk/pin/692850723912890345/)
Get a toilet paper tube and make sure you get all the paper off.
Cover the outside of the tube with peanut butter or lard, making sure you completely cover the outside.
Roll the tube in bird seed. The seeds will stick to the peanut butter/lard.
Thread a piece of string through the tube and tie a knot so you can hang it in the garden.

Learn the Countryside Code: https://www.scouts.org.uk/activities/countryside-code-true-or-false/

Learn how to identify six different living things from two of these categories, that means you should have 12 examples in total:
Trees
Garden birds
Water birds
Minibeasts and insects
Wild flowers

I have provided a couple of sheets that will help you if you want to learn some garden birds and minibeasts/insects.

Over three months, visit the same natural area at least four times and keep a record of bird, animal or insect life and take at least 10 photographs of what you find.
