Description

In this engaging activity, Scouts will plan a nutritious and delicious meal for a group of 4-6 people. While they won’t be cooking during this session, they’ll dive into the essentials of meal planning, considering various dietary requirements and respecting different faiths and cultural practices.

Learning Objectives:
Understand and accommodate dietary restrictions (e.g., allergies, vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free).
Explore how different faiths and cultures influence food choices and meal preparation.
Develop teamwork and communication skills by collaborating on a meal plan.
Enhance creativity in designing a balanced and appealing menu.

Outcome:
By the end of this activity, Scouts will have a comprehensive meal plan that is inclusive and considerate of all dietary needs and cultural preferences, ready to be cooked at their next outdoor adventure!
