Description

Experiment glove box for pretending to be an astronaut. 1 - investigating 'space' rocks with mini magnifiers. Can add pens if so wish. 2 - 'alien' sorting with pom poms and tweezers to put in different colour cake cases. 3 - measuring 'space dust' glitter/cornflour, using pipettes and test tubes.

Resources

Shoboxes, child size kitchen rubber gloves, items for an astronaut to explore eg, space rocks and magnifying glasses. Eg, plastic test tubes and pipettes, 'space dust' glitter/cornflour. Eg, silicone cake cases, pom pom 'aliens' and chunky plastic tweezers. Laminate sheet per box and duct tape.

Instructions

Cut two holes in one side of box (or two sides for two children at a time) duct tape marigold gloves inside box. Use a laminate sheet (cooked) as a see-through lid for the box. Place play items inside box and there you have 'astronaut' experiments!
