Instructions
Scouts in teams of 3-6 write down as many names of famous characters as they can think of on individual pieces of paper (One name per piece of paper - they can be fictional, historical, present etc but should be a person or character widely known). These are collected into a bowl.
A member of one of the teams is selected and is given the bowl of names, a timer is set for a minute (or 2 if you feel this is too short) and the person attempts to describe the person without using their name (or any parts of their name eg: for Clifford the big red dog, cannot say big, red or dog) and get through as many names as they can in the time, scoring points for any name that was guessed by their teammates. (Names can be skipped but should be said out loud at the end of the turn so that others can explain - the idea of the game is to get familiar with the names so that in the later rounds they can be guessed from less information)
After the time runs up the other team go and so on until the names have all been said.
For the second round the same process is carried out however the names can only be described using 3 words (again not including names or parts of names)
For the third round the names must be mimed (no words or noises can be used)
The team with the most points (names guessed) by the end of the third round wins
