Instructions
1. Preparation: Choose the following Islamic items to hide around the school grounds, ensuring they are safe and suitable for the area:
- Quran: The holy book of Islam, regarded as the direct word of God (Allah) to Prophet Muhammad. It is important for guidance in life and serves as a foundation for Islamic teachings.
- Prayer Rug: A mat specifically designed for prayer (Salah), representing devotion and spirituality. Using it signifies respect for the act of worship.
- Crescent Moon and Star: A symbol that is commonly associated with Islam, representing growth, renewal, and guidance. Seen in many flags and emblems, it signifies the Islamic faith.
- Islamic Pattern (e.g., geometric design): Symbols often found in Islamic art and architecture. These patterns reflect the infinity of Allah and represent the beauty of creation.
- Muslim Prayer Beads (Tasbih): Used for the remembrance of Allah during prayer and meditation, these beads help Muslims keep track of their praises and supplications.
- Miniature Kaaba: A model of the Kaaba, the sacred structure located in Mecca. It is the direction (Qibla) in which Muslims pray and represents unity in worship.
- Two Hands Raised (Dua Hands): Representing the practice of making dua (supplication), which is an essential aspect of Islamic faith, highlighting the importance of personal connection with Allah.
- Sadaqah Box: A small box for collecting charity. Giving to charity (Zakat) is a fundamental part of Islam, illustrating community support and social responsibility.
- Islamic Calligraphy: Beautifully written verses from the Quran or phrases like "Bismillah" (In the name of Allah) that reflect the artistic expression of faith and spirituality.
2. Group Formation: Divide Scouts into small groups of 3-5. Give each group a map and a list of the items they need to find.
3. Introduce the Hunt: Explain that they will need to find the hidden objects using their maps and work together to mark each item as they locate it. Share a brief fact about each item related to Islam as a hint before they begin.
4. Set a Time Limit: Give the groups 30-40 minutes to explore and find as many items as possible. Encourage discussion and teamwork.
5. Wrap-up Discussion: Gather everyone to share their findings and what they learned about each object. Reflect on teamwork and the importance of community in Islam.
