Description

Encourage girls to become more familiar with the 17 Sustainable Development Goals and become more aware of how the items/ environments they interact with daily relate to the SDGS.

Instructions

1. Leaders should split girls into pairs or groups.
2. Each group should be handed a poster of the 17 SDGs, or a projected copy should be visible to all.
3. A timer should be set for 20 seconds, then less and less time to make it more difficult.
4. The groups should be asked to race against the clock to find an item/ anything they see around them that relates to an SDG of their choice (e.g.: A reusable water bottle relating to SDG 14 Life Below water, as plastic reduction helps Sealife).
5. When time is up the groups should present their chosen item to another group without revealing what their chosen SDG was, the other group should guess which one it could be.
6. Finally, once it is guessed the group should explain why they chose that specific object and which SDG it relates to.
