Description

Battleships based where two teams try to throw small sponge balls/ wet sponges over the barrier to try and hit a player on other side..

Resources

Tarpaulin

Rope

Sponges or sponge balls.

Buckets

Training cones times x8

Instructions

Tarpaulin put over a rope and tied between 2 trees or poles.

4m square approx. each side which is the game area.

Teams of 6 on each side. Could decrease if need be.

Each member of team moves to a space on each ocean side.

Each team member throws bombs/ bullets which are the sponge balls if cold/damp or use of soaked sponges if weather warm and suitable. Make sure feel age appropriate.

No one must move when balls or sponges are all thrown. If touches person that member is out of game.

Once all been thrown can move to retrieve.

Repeat until one team eliminated. To keep fair same number of balls or sponges must be thrown from both sides.

Last team or player standing for team wins.

If any players not playing in spirit of game or rules are eliminated till next game.
