In this activity, Cubs will learn about Himalayan Balsam and its environmental impact, followed by a practical removal session.

Instructions
1. Gather the Cubs: Assemble Cubs for a briefing about Himalayan Balsam, its effects on local biodiversity, and the importance of removing it.
2. Safety Briefing: Explain safety tips, including wearing gloves, avoiding thorny plants, and staying clear of water edges.
3. Divide the Cubs: Split the Cubs into small groups, each accompanied by a leader or adult.
4. Set Boundaries: Define safe areas for removal; mark out regions where Cubs can work without risk.
5. Begin Removal: Encourage Cubs to carefully identify and pull out the Balsam plants, placing them in designated bags for collection.
6. Supervision: Ensure adults provide close supervision to assist with any difficulties and ensure safety.
