Description
This is a starter activity before the main task of the session. It is to teach the importance of a positive mindset and what one can do to maintain it during stressful times.

A quiet space
Comfortable things to sit on
Instructions
1. Sit all younglings in a circle either cross-legged on the ground or however comfortable/practical. Ask for silence and then begin the activity.
2. Everyone closes their eyes and focuses on their emotions. Instruct them to think of what makes them feel negatively and tell them to clear current negative energy from their mind
3. Quote Master Yoda (“Fear is the path to the dark side. Fear leads to anger. Anger leads to hate. Hate leads to suffering.”) and explain
4. Suggest ways to control breathing and emotions (box breathing, triangle breathing, taking a step back for a moment)
