Instructions

1. Set Up the Field:
- Mark four corners of the field with signs indicating "Paper," "Glass," "Metal," and "Plastic." (if desired)
- Ensure there is enough space between the corners for Beavers to run safely.

2. Gather the Beavers:
- Explain the importance of recycling and what materials belong in each category.
- Discuss why recycling is crucial for the environment.

3. Starting the Game:
- Each Beaver starts in the centre of the field.
- A leader calls out a type of material that might be discarded in a household (e.g., "Newspaper" or "Empty Squash Bottle").

4. Running to the Corner:
- Beavers must decide if the item to be recycled is paper, glass, metal or plastic and run to the corner marked for the correct material.

5. Finish Up:
- Chat about any difficult objects - did Beavers split between paper and plastic for a juice carton, for example?
