Instructions

1) Check the area is clear and free from hazards (rocks, debris etc)
2) All participants must wear a helmet
3) Brief the group:
- One rider per sledge
- Sit properly with feet inside the sledge and hands on the brake handles
- Stay seated at all times (no standing or jumping out)
- Wait your turn and go only when told
4) Send sledgers down one at a time (per lane) and only send the next person when the lane is clear.
5) Instruct young people to pull their sledge back up the hill (up the side of the slope)
6) Rotate so everyone gets multiple goes
