Laser quest/ maze at Scouts in Space

Resources

Laser guns, equipment, arena

Instructions

The game can be played "Free-for-all" or in teams
OUTSIDE
In each case organise participants into sizes (e.g. no beavers vs scouts)
Manage queue to to prevent pushing, running or overcrowding
Clearly explain game and safety instructions
- No pushing inside the arena
- No physical contact
- Hold laser guns with two hands at all times
- Do not tamper with equipment
- If the equipment stops working or you feel unwell raise your hand and shout "LEADER"
Ask participants to tie hair and tuck loose items in
INSIDE
Supervise gameplay and intervene if:
-players remove safety equipment
-there is rough physical contact
Monitor for misuse or cheating

Stop the game immediately if injury or behaviour issues arise
Signal with a loud whistle or shout "GAME STOP"
