Description

In preparation for a group camp, cubs will scavenge for natural materials (sticks, leaves etc), and build a model camp. Followed by discussion of camp rules, camp safety, and ideas for games/cub lead suggestions.

Discuss Countryside Code =- "Leave No Trace" - Make sure that all cubs bring a bin bag for litter and know the importance of leaving the site clean and tidy.

Cubs to scavenge the village green area and back garden area for sticks/leaves/any other materials the build small table top campsites - as creative as they wish.

Camp Safety Posters - Campsite rules.

Discuss the kit list for camp - what to bring with you and why you might need it.

Suggestions for games/songs/activities for camp so leaders can prepare.
