Description

In this activity, Cubs will collaborate to build a rickshaw without wheels, using available materials creatively.

Resources

- Staves (wood or plastic)
- Chairs
- Ropes
- Notebooks and pens for designs
- Tape measure (optional)

Instructions

1. Material Distribution: Divide the Cubs into small teams of 4-5 and give each group the same quantity of staves, chairs, and ropes.
2. Design Phase: Allow each team 10 minutes to sketch a design of their rickshaw on paper, thinking about stability, capacity, and aesthetics.
3. Construction Phase: Give teams 35 minutes to build their rickshaw based on their designs. Encourage creativity and teamwork.
4. Present Phase: Each team will have 5 minutes to present their rickshaw to the group, explaining their design and the rationale behind it.
