Description

In this activity, Cubs will create and perform skits focusing on messages about healthy living, helping them work on their presentation skills and promoting good habits.


Resources

- A space for performing the skits
- Optional props (hats, scarves, etc.) for creativity

Instructions

1. Divide Cubs into small groups (3-5 Cubs per group).
2. Explain that they will create a short skit (2-3 minutes) that promotes healthy living themes, such as nutrition, exercise, or mental wellness.
3. Provide examples of healthy living topics they can choose from, including:
- The importance of eating fruits and vegetables.
- Fun ways to stay active.
- The benefits of drinking water.
- Stress management techniques like mindfulness.
4. Give each group about 20 minutes to brainstorm and prepare their skits. Encourage them to be creative with props, costumes, and dialogues.
5. When groups are ready, gather everyone to perform their skits in front of the others.
6. After each performance, allow a few minutes for the audience (other Cubs) to ask questions or provide compliments.
