As part of a potato themed night, where the Scouts have brought with them and played games with their potato. This is the end of the night where they get silly awards.

Have a potato line up similar to a beauty pageant.

Potato awards:

Most Beaten-Up Potato

Most Loyal Potato - Scout who ID’d theirs fastest

Sharpest Shot - spud gun

Golden Spud – overall champion of the night

Couch Potato – most chilled / slowest in a race

Hot Potato – fastest in a relay or obstacle race

Mash Maker – potato most damaged/mashed during games

Mr/Mrs Chip – most stylishly decorated potato

King Edward Award – potato that looks most “regal”

Small Fry – tiniest potato in the group

Baked Potato Award – potato that travelled the furthest/longest throw

Hash Brown Award – funniest accident or blooper of the night

The Jacket – potato that survived every round still intact

Top Tubers – highest-scoring patrol overall

Spud Buddies – patrol with the best teamwork

Rotten Potato – funniest fail / patrol that took it in good humour


Scouts keep their potato as a “mascot” until the end of term (optional).
