This is a fun story, with Cub participation, that you can read to Cubs on, or around Halloween.

Props to made the various noises. (Chains, Thunder board, Horns, maracas, etc)

Instructions

Split Cubs into Groups. The more confident Cubs can be a character that requires then to make a noise when their character is named in the story. Shy Cubs who aren't as confident at shouting out can be give props to make noises with.
Split Cubs into Groups, allocate them a character and tell them that they need to pay attention to the story and make their given noise when their character is mentioned.
Read the story leaving pauses for everyone to make their sound.
There are a few facts about Halloween to share at the end
