Description

The cubs will look at images from the local area and investigate what the places are and answer questions about the area. This will all take place on the big screen so they can clearly identify the different areas within a team setting.

Instructions

Include a photo or simple outline for one of these:
- Billingham forum
-St Cuthbert's church
- Beck Valley Country park
- The Town Centre
- Library & Customer service

Questions to ask:
what is the name of this place?
what is it used for today?
what might it have been used for in the past?
have you been there? what did you see/do?
what changes might it have seen over time?

ask about the forums, old chemical works, local shops that no longer exist, the old station vs new station
encourage cubs to take notes or sketch what the older version sounded or looked like.
