Description

Young people to be blind folded and to pass through a ‘minefield’. Team IC will instruct the young people through the minefield.

Rope (start/finish line)
Cones (Mines)

Instructions

Set up:
Line 2 ropes parallel to eachother about 5 metres apart. These will be your start/finish lines.
Locate cones randomly between the 2 ropes. These will be your ‘mines’.

Young Person Brief:
Situation:
You are a team RAF Regiment soldiers heading away from hostile territory at night. You have been told you have just walked into a mine field. Only one of you (team IC) has night vision goggles
Mission: (say x2)
You must direct your whole team through the minefield without detonating a mine
Execution:
Direct your team as you wish through the minefield without hitting a mine. They must go from start to finish and not around the field. Everyone but IC requires blindfolds. You have 8 minutes.
