Description
Guessing game to allow youth members to work on their sense of touch with food.
Resources
Shoebox
Scissors
Different food items (e.g. rice, popcorn, orange slices, jelly, etc.)
Instructions
Place different food items into a box with a hole in the top one at a time. Each section member should come over one at a time and put their hand in the box and use their sense of touch to try and figure out what food item it is. For Squirrels a time limit of 30 seconds could be given, but with Beavers and Cubs, the time limit could be lowered to 15 or 20 seconds. The members then have to write (or draw) the food item they think was in the box. At the end of the game, the leader running it will go through the answers.
