The animal alphabet poster.
Messages to decode - need to be made before hand and should be personalised to suit you.
Paper

Instructions

Children are introduced to the concept of the phonetic alphabet, but through animals.
The poster shows the animals in alphabetical order and has pictures to support and make this easier.
If there are messages to decode (made before hand) children can work together in their lodges, or in small groups within their lodges, to decode the message and read it together.
