Explain to the Beavers that a leader will call out prompts related to books, stories, or reading and the Beavers can only answer through gestures/mimed actions and are glued to the spot so cannot move away from their spot in the line/circle.
Example questions that the leader can ask:
"If you love reading before bed, touch your nose.”
"Show me with your fingers how many books you read last month.”
“Show me how big your favourite book is.”
“If you like picture books, make a square shape with your hands.”
“If you’ve ever been read a story by someone you love, make a heart shape with your hands.”
“Show me how you feel when you finish a really good story.”
“If you like books about animals, give me quiet bunny ears.”
“If you like stories about adventures, strike a superhero pose.
“If you think books can take you anywhere in the world, stretch your arms wide.”
“Show me how a brave knight would stand.”
“Pretend to be a pirate reading a treasure map.”
Show me the face of someone who found a funny story.”
“Now, a face for a spooky story!”
“Show me a surprised face when the book’s ending is a big twist.”
“Pretend you’re reading a book that makes you sleepy.”
“Show me a character who just solved the mystery.
“Show me how you might look for a new book at the fair.”

Beavers can also be chosen to be the leader once they get a hang of the game, asking their own questions or making their own prompts which can contribute to the activity being YouShaped.
