Instructions
This is a collaborative activity, each group sitting together will produce one solar system picture between them. This isn't about drawing our own solar system, just a bit of fun while using the appropriate language of planets, asteroids, etc. helping to understand what they all are.
Cubs take it in turns to roll the die - they need a 1 (the sun) to start off. When a Cub rolls a number that means they can draw something, then they draw that item on their sheet, while the other Cubs continue taking it in turns to roll.
You may well need an adult or YL to slow the process a bit so that others have time to draw! This is an opportunity to discuss their choices and understanding.
Because you aren't trying to create a particular system there is no "done," just whenever you want to stop.
points awarded at the end for neatness, beauty, working together, whatever you like.
(I have tagged this Asteroids and Comets so that it shows up for people looking for activities for the Space Badge. I don't think I'd tick that off having done just this - would want them to understand a bit more)
