Instructions

1. Begin by chatting with the girls about what ‘kindness’ means. Give examples such as helping a friend, sharing toys, or saying thank you.
2. Each Ladybird draws/writes one act of kindness on a paper strip
3. While the Leader links the strips together to form a kindness chain, give each girl a ‘Be Kind’ colouring sheet to colour
4. As they colour, play “K-I-N-D” by Stephanie Leavell (available on Youtube).
5. Once the chain and colouring are finished, gather in a circle and ask, “How does kindness make people feel?”
6. End by reminding everyone of the Ladybird Motto: “Ladybirds care and share”
