Ready to print activities:
Morse code with message: Christmas is magical

On the second activity there are couple of diffrent codes with christmas messages:
1.Number – to – letter
2.One Letter Move
3. Chocolate Code
4. GA-DE-RY-PO-LU-KI

Instructions

Cut one code with exampe and message.
Split into 3-4 groups.
Each group will receive 4 codes.
Each Beavers/Cub needs to decode at least one message by them self.
When they finish, they swap within the group and decode the next message.

I normally During this time, I take each Beaver/Cub individually for one extra task:

1. Tell me their parent’s phone number (if you asked them to learn it beforehand).

2. Send a text/email to their parent saying: “See you soon!” (You need to print a list of the Beavers’/Cubs’ names and parent phone numbers beforehand, so they can type them in.)

3. Walkie-talkie chat : a short conversation with a leader whi is in difftent room. ( you need to preper instructions for leader, and Phonic alphabet for Beavers/Cubs)

-They can tell their name using the Phonetic Alphabet, or

-Leader read a short story to the Beaver/Cub. They need to renember as much as they can. At the end of the session, they will retell the story to the rest of the group. (You need to prepare the stories and print the Phonetic Alphabet beforehand.)
