Description

A creative craft activity where Squirrels make a simple poster showing how they will be kind when using screens. This helps reinforce positive behaviour and gives them something visual to remember their promise.

Resources

A4 paper or card

Crayons, felt tips, pencils

Glue sticks

Pre-cut pictures (smiley faces, hearts, screens, people, speech bubbles)

Stickers (optional)

Instructions

1- Introduce the activity by saying:
“We are going to make a promise to be kind when we use screens.”

2- Show a simple example (or describe one):

A smiley face on a screen

A heart

A picture of friends being kind

3- Invite Squirrels to:

Draw themselves being kind online

Or collage pictures that show kindness on screens

Leaders can help add simple words like:

“Be kind”

“Ask first”

“Help friends”

4- As they work, walk around and talk to them individually:

“What kindness are you showing here?”

“Who are you being kind to?”

5 Finish by celebrating their posters and saying:
“These posters show we are all kind Digital Citizens.”
