Description

"Tumba Tripode" is a Peruvian game created by the 99th Marinos San Borja Scouts in Lima, Peru.

A good team game where two teams need to knock each others tripod over with a football.

Resources

6 small pioneering poles to make 2 tripods. Football (or similar). Rope to lash the poles together

Instructions

Create two tripods with pioneering poles. The tripod should not be taller than chest height of the participants.

Split the group into two teams.

The teams need to use the football to knock over the other teams tripod.

Participants cannot move when they hold the football.

The football can only be thrown, it cannot be kicked.

The game can be adapted to end when a set number of goals (tripod knocked over) or time limits.

The Peruvian scouts have large competitions with lots of teams so the game can be played in large numbers or small.
