- Smoke alarm quiz x 1 per Six
- Fire escape plans sheet x 1 per Cub
Instructions
1. Hand out fire safety sheets to each Cub that detail hazards commonly found in the kitchen.
2. Allow 7-8 minutes for Cubs to identify hazards on their sheets, then discuss as a group.
3. Give Cubs a smoke alarm quiz with questions and answers regarding the importance of smoke alarms.
4. Dedicate the last 10 minutes to helping each Cub create a fire escape plan for their home, including exits and meeting points.
