Description
A simple charades game for Squirrels. The leader chooses a child, quietly tells them what to act out, the group guesses together, then everyone claps. Fast, fun, and low-pressure.
Resources
A list of easy charades prompts (on paper or your phone)
Clear space for one child to stand and act
Instructions
Set up (1 minute)
Sit everyone in a semicircle facing the “stage spot”.
Say: “I’ll pick someone. I’ll whisper what to act out. Everyone guesses. Then we all clap!”
Play (10–20 minutes)
Pick a child to act.
Whisper one prompt to them (or show it on your phone).
Child acts for 10–20 seconds.
Everyone guesses together.
When guessed (or after 20 seconds), say “Well done!” and everyone claps.

Brushing teeth
Jumping in puddles
Walking a dog
Eating an ice cream
Riding a bike
How to play:
One Squirrel acts
Group guesses together
Brushing your hair
Putting on shoes
Drinking from a cup
Eating a banana
Crying like a baby
Laughing
Yawning
Sneezing
pretend you are a rabbit
Blow bubbles that float away
Walk through super sticky mud
Open a treasure chest and gasp
Put on an invisible superhero cape
Fly like a superhero
Be a robot walking with stiff arms
Shiver in a snowstorm
Climb a tall mountain and plant a flag
Pretend you are a frog
Pretend you are an elephant
Pretend you are a snake
Pretend you are a monkey
Optional “All About Me” round (5–10 minutes):
Ask a child quietly: “What do you like doing?”
They act it out; group guesses.
Ask: “Why do you like it?”
Ask: “Hands up if you like that too!”
Everyone claps.
