Young people discuss their experiences of working towards top awards and share ideas on what support would help them succeed.

This activity links to the County Youth Forum and allows Scouts and Explorers to influence future programme and top awards support across Humberside.

Instructions

1. Split the Section into small groups or Patrols.

2. Ask each group to discuss the questions for young people, focusing on experiences, challenges and ideas around achieving top awards.

3. Encourage everyone to contribute and ensure all voices are heard.

4. Once discussions are complete, share the QR codes so young people can submit their responses directly to the online form, or Leaders can collate group responses and submit them on behalf of the young people.

Leaders should complete the separate set of questions aimed at Leaders.
