Description

Teams must race to match a "Mission Card" (a scenario) with the correct "Aircraft Type" (the job).

Resources

The Four Stations: Place a sign in each corner of the room representing a job category:

Commercial/Transport (People/Goods)

Emergency/Rescue (Air Ambulance/Firefighting)

Agriculture/Science (Crop dusting/Weather tracking)

Defense/Special Ops (Patrol/Humanitarian Aid drops)

Mission Cards: 20 small slips of paper, each describing a job (e.g., "A remote village needs food after a flood," or "150 people need to get to Spain for a holiday").

Instructions

How to Play (12–15 Minutes)
The Briefing (2 mins): Explain that aircraft aren't just for holidays. Briefly mention the four stations and what they do.

The Sortie (10 mins): * Cubs line up in their Sixes (teams).

One Cub from each team runs to the Young Leaders in the center to receive a "Mission Card."

The Cub must read the mission and run to the corner (Aircraft Job) they think is the best fit.

The Challenge: If the Adult Leader at that corner agrees, the Cub leaves the card there and runs back to tag the next teammate. If the Leader disagrees (e.g., they took a "Forest Fire" mission to the "Commercial" corner), the Cub must fly (arms out!) to the correct corner before returning.

The Debrief (2 mins): Gather in the center. The Leaders pick the most interesting "Mission" from their corner and ask the Cubs why that specific plane was needed.
