Instructions
Run through the scenario of someone having fallen and broken their leg on a hillside.
Perform First Aid to splint the leg, keep them warm - use a roll mat and bivy bag.
Go get help,
- The Six-Blast Rule: Use a whistle or shout to make six loud blasts/calls, wait one minute, then repeat.
- Act out 999 call - ask for police then mountain rescue, Encourage vital recordings , grid reference of location.

The N-Signal (No): If you do not need help, or to indicate a negative, raise one arm and lower the other, forming a diagonal line with your body.
Visibility Enhancements: To ensure the pilot sees you, use a mirror to reflect sunlight, wave bright-colored clothing, or use an emergency blanket.
Use the bivy bag us a stretcher to move the casualty.
