Instructions
1. Gather a variety of ready-to-eat food samples covering healthy and less healthy options.
2. Split Scouts into patrols and ensure they wash their hands before starting.
3. Explain the goal: to create a balanced menu for two days, using the provided food samples.
4. Each patrol selects food items and discusses how they fit into their menu. They should aim for a balance, with fewer high-fat and high-sugar foods and more fruits, vegetables, and whole grains.
5. Set out prepared plates or bowls for each meal.
6. Once the menus are complete, patrols present their choices to the group and explain their meal plans.
7. When it's time to eat, instruct that high-fat or sugary foods may only be enjoyed after finishing their nutritious meals.
