A variation of the Beavers' flags activity on here.
Print and laminate 1 set per lodge and play as a memory game.

Resources

1 copy of the activity per Lodge - can be laminated for reuse. Cut them up so that the flag and information are together and just the country name is separate.

Instructions

Game to match up flag and information with name of country.
Play as a memory game:
- each Lodge has a set of cards, put them all face down on the table.
- one Beaver at a time turns over 2 cards (one big, one small) if they match then they keep that pair.
- if they don’t match then they turn them over again.
- next Beaver then takes a turn.
DO NOT let them shuffle the cards or otherwise move them around - the point of the game is to remember where they saw things.
As they turn them over, discuss what else they might know about a particular country or what they think it might be.
