Description

Fun easter craft. Make bunny ear headbands out of card! Beavers can decorate as they like.

Resources

White cardstock. Will be easier if card is A2 size, needs to wrap around a YP's head! You can use A3 and extend it for anyone who has a bigger head.
Printer
Scissors
Stapler
Staples
Pens, pencils, decorations, glue etc.

Instructions

Pre - session prep:
- Pre cut long rectangles out of white card, about 2.5 inches wide and long enough to go round a beavers head with some overlap
- Print out bunny ear templates on white card (paper will be fine but card will stand up better). I found mine here https://www.littledayout.com/bunny-ears-craft-template-make-a-cute-headband-printable/ but there a lots available online

Session:
1. Give each beaver a pair of ears and a long strip of card.
2. Carefully, the beavers should cut out the ears.
3. They can then colour and decorate both the ears and the headband with whatever decorations you have.
4. Once decorated, get an adult to wrap the strip of card round beaver's head, mark where it needs stapling and staple once taken off beaver's head! Staple at least twice, once at bottom, once at top to secure ears.
5. Finally an adult needs to staple the bunny ears to the headband.

The bunny ears are now complete!
