This craft aims to show Brownies how they can make beautiful art from parts of nature.

Resources

• Leaves/Bark

• Colours (crayons/pencils)

• Paper

Instructions

This craft works best outdoors while on a ramble or on a day out/camp.

1. As a group, discuss your favourite parts of nature. Then talk about how nature can inspire us to make art.
2. Show everyone how by putting a leaf or a piece of back under a sheet of paper and rubbing a pencil/crayon over it you can get a picture of the leaf/bark.
3. Instruct everyone not to take leaves off of trees, try to find some on the ground instead.
4. Give each Brownie a sheet of paper and ask them to make their own picture using the nature around them.
5. Come together and let everyone share their artwork.
