Instructions

You might want to start by doing a refresher on 6 figure grid references and how to measure distance on an OS Map.

Split the YP into small teams and hand out the maps and instruction sheets. YP work together to find the place given from the W3W address and mark it on the map. They then need to determine the 6 figure grid reference for the place, plot a walking route to it from the indicated starting point and measure the distance of that route.

This will work in patrols but smaller teams give everyone a better chance to help.
