Test the young people's listening and motor skills with this animal themed circle game.

Sponge Ball

Instructions

Gather the young people in a circle with a leader or young leader in the middle.

The leader has to throw the ball to a young person in the circle and say either land, sea or air as the do.

The young person then catches the ball and if the leader has said land they to name a land animal, if they've said sea they name a sea creature and if they've said air they name a bird.

Once they have said the name of the their animal they throw the ball back to the leader and the leader throws it to someone else.

If a animals is repeated then that young person is out.

For younger sections where being out may cause some upset if they repeat a animal then they have to swap with the leader in the middle, throwing the ball and shouting land, sea or air.

Keep going until you have a winner.
