Description

Camp doughnuts are a simple pudding to cook on stoves or over a camp fire.

Resources

Bread
Fillings (Jam/Choc Spread)
Pancake Mix (Homemade or Pre-Made)
Sugar

Instructions

Give each Young Person a slice of bread and get them to spread their fillings on half of the bread. Fold the bread on half, to make half a sandwich. Heat some oil in a pan. Dip the sandwich into the pancake batter and then fry on both sides until golden. Dip into a bowl of sugar.

Let cool before eating. The fillings will be very hot, so be mindful if doing this activity with younger sections.
